- Q) Can I register if I am not a photographer or model?
- A) Yes, you can register, but you will not be able to upload photos.
- Q) What can I access as a user?
- A) You can search and view photos or profiles of photographers and models, you can also contact photographers and models and add them to your favorites.
- Q) Can I comment on photos?
- A) No, you can't. Only photographers and models are allowed to post comments.
- Q) Can I contact the photographers or models?
- A) Yes, you can contact photographers and models.
- Q) Can I add members to favorites?
- A) Yes, you can add members to your personal favorites.
- Q) Can I use the forums?
- A) Yes but as a user there are restrictions – you are allowed to write topics and comments only in the “General” section of the forums, but not in the sections “Photographers” and “Models”
- Q) Can I search for a member in specific locations?
- A) Yes, you can search for a member by specific location through our Search section.
- Q) Can I search by specific data?
- A) Yes, you can search also by specific data through our Advanced Search option
- Q) I need a photographer, can I locate one through your portal?
- A) Yes, of course you can. We have a very detailed Advanced Search option, which enables you to find exactly the kind of member you are looking for.
- Q) I would like to advertise on your portal, is this possible?

- Q) What is the maximum size I am allowed to upload?
- A) The maximum size you are allowed to upload is 200KB and 960px on the horizontal side. Pictures, that are bigger than this, will be automatically resized to fit the required length of the horizontal side.
- Q) How does the site work?
- A) You can upload pictures in your profile in certain galleries. They will be visible in your personal gallery, but they are still going to be reviewed by the admin of PhotoArtz. If some pictures do not suit the requirements of Paragraph 6 of our Terms and Conditions, they will be deleted.
PhotoArtz has also a Main Gallery with different sub-galleries. This Main Gallery will consist of all the best pictures from all members, that would like to see their photos there. So if you think, that certain photo of yours is worthy to be shown there, you have to mark the check-box “Enlist in PhotoArtz galleries too”, when you are uploading a picture, or if you want to add an already uploaded one, click on the pencil-icon “Edit” under the picture, you would like to add in the Main Gallery, and then save it. The submitted pictures will be reviewed by the admin of PhotoArtz and they will be either approved for the Gallery or not. If they are not approved, they won't appear in the Main Gallery, but they will still be visible and viewable from your profile. Approved will be pictures that distinguish by originality, aesthetics and good quality.

You can enter our competition(s) - Q) How do I enter the competition?
- A) PhotoArtz' free contest will start right after there are at least 500 registered photographers on the site. Only photographers have the right to participate in the contest. It will include 3 galleries – Fashion, Act art and Portrait.
Every photographer can enlist X amount of their uploaded photos in these three galleries. However these enlisted photos, like all other photos, that a user wants to enlist in the main Gallery, are subject to approval by the admin. Approved will be all photos with good technical and aesthetic quality.
The duration of the contest will be 3 months after it's start.
After the end of the contest the photos will be judged by a 6 membered jury, consisted of international professional photographers, each two from which are specialists in one of the 3 types of photography the contest have.
Although the contest has 3 sections, the winner will be only one. He/she will win a free personal website.
If you want to enter the contest you have to mark the check-box “Enlist in PhotoArtz galleries too”, when you are uploading a picture, or if you want to add an already uploaded one, click on the pencil-icon “Edit” under the picture, you would like to add in the contest, choose one of the 3 contest categories and then save it.
Please, note that even for the contest the submitted pictures are subject to approval by the admin. Approved will be pictures that distinguish by originality, aesthetics and good quality. - Q) How do I arrange my photos?
- A) You can change the position of a picture by using the slider (to move it back and forward related to the other photos in the specific gallery) after you click on the edit icon of the picture.
- Q) Can I change the background for my photos?
- A) By uploading a new photo you have several fields to fill, including what kind of background you want that picture to have. You can choose it from the field ”Show full-sized image on a.................background.” You can also change it by clicking the “Edit” icon under the picture you want to change its background.
- Q) Can I attach a model's name to a photo?
- A) Yes, you can. By uploading or by editing a picture you can either choose a name from the model members, if the model is registered in PhotoArtz, or write the name of the model, if not registered in PhotoArtz.
- Q) Can I send messages to other members?
- A) Yes, you can send messages to other members, by clicking the icon “Contact Author/Model” in the profile of a member.
- Q) How do my photos get to the Main Gallery?
- A) PhotoArtz's Main Gallery will consist of all the best pictures from all members, that would like to see their photos there. You can enter our competition(s) - Q) How do I arrange my photos?
- A) If you would like to rearrange you photos in each of your galleries, you have to view your “Edit Gallery” section, choose and click on the desired gallery, then choose which picture you would like to change the position of, by ticking on the radio-box right below of its thumbnail and then write in the appointed field the number of the position you would like this picture to take.
You can also define the position of a picture, you are about to upload, again by filling the appointed field with the number of the position you want that photo to take. - Q) Can I change the background photos for my photos?
- A) By uploading a new photo you have several fields to fill, including what kind of background you want that picture to have. You can choose it from the field ”Show full-sized image on a.................background.” You can also change it by clicking the “Edit” icon under the picture you want to change its background.
- Q) Should I have the permission of the author of the photo to upload it?
- A) Every model, that uploads pictures on PhotoArtz, must have the permission of the author of the pictures to be used and published on the Internet by the model. It is a responsibility of the model to have such permission.
If a photographer didn't give his/her permission to a model for certain photo(s) and reports this to PhotoArtz, the admin will have to delete this/these picture(s). - Q) Should I add the photographer's name to the photo?
- A) Yes, you are obliged to add the name of the photographer for each picture you upload and if you don't do it, the picture won't upload. You can choose the name from our photographer members list, if he/she is registered in PhotoArtz, or write his/her name, if not registered in PhotoArtz.
- Q) Can I send messages to other members?
